Congratulations to our Lion of the Year!

Karen Bell 2006 - 2007

Lion Karen Bell joined the Mill Creek Lions club in December of 1992, shortly after our club chartered in June of 1992!  She was sponsored by Lion Kathy Schumer and was recently installed as the new Zone Chairperson for Zone 19-B3.  Karen was the President of the Mill Creek Lions Club in 1996-97 and has served in various club offices including Secretary and Tail Twister.  She has chaired numerous committees and projects.  This special Lion works very hard and believes strongly in our Lions motto "We Serve"!  We are so proud of Lion Karen.  Congratulations!

Mill Creek Library Gets CCTV!

The Lions of Zone B3, together with the NW Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing and the Snohomish County Hearing Foundation purchased a Closed Circuit Television for the Mill Creek Library recently.  This device enables people with visual impairments to read easier.

The funds for this were raised entirely by Lions.  The Lions of Zone B3 had a project with the Bon-Macy's holiday parade as Parade Marshals to raise their portion of the funds.
